Emmanuel Kutin made these comments on ‘Happy Morning Show’ (HMS) ON Happy FM in reaction to reports of soldiers descending on some recalcitrant Ghanaians who didn’t adhere to the lockdown directives.

‘’Let us channel our energies to helping the security agencies to work, stop the blame game. We cannot continue blaming the security for everything like we always do. Stop complaining and adhere to the rules of the lockdown’’ he stated.

He also mentioned that security persons are also risking their lives just like the medical professionals.
‘’The security agencies are also front liners in this fight against coronavirus (covid-19). They are exposing themselves like the health workers. A lockdown is a lockdown, this is not the time for I know my rights, are we going to be saying this is my right over dead bodies?’’ he asked rhetorically.

He however, admitted that every policy has its unintended consequences so he advised on what can be done.

‘’Government should engage auxiliary agencies like the Ministry of Information to use their information vans to educate the general public on the rudiments of the lockdown. If you have nothing to do outside, Stay at home. This is not the time for politics. Let us come together and win this fight’’ he stated.
