Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC), through its media assets Happy FM, e.TV Ghana and YFM Triangle in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi has started a themed month series on all its media platforms to ensure all aspects of industry are taken care of.

The month of April which is dubbed ‘Technology Month’ is dedicated to promote all facets of technology tailored to suit specific target groups, which fall within the wide demographic of audience segmentation of its five (5) media brands.

Speaking about the ‘Technology Month’ initiative, the Chief Executive Officer of Global Media Alliance Group (GMA), Ernest Boateng, said:

‘’Global economies are advancing with the strategic use of technology. Ghana is not an exception as the past decade has witnessed a surge in technological start-ups, technologically enhanced services and products and a general appreciation of the value of technology in everyday living. The current global and national medical emergency; COVID-19, even makes it critical for an appreciation of digital and technological impacts on everyday living”.

He also explained what format the ‘Technology Month’ will take.
‘’We have dedicated our on-air programming and digital platforms to promote technological innovations, products, entrepreneurs and all other services that can be classified under technology. In addition to traditional media, our digital and social media platforms will also be used in equal measure to promote technology in Ghana’’ he stated.

‘’All our shows will discuss a wide range of technology oriented conversations about smart homes, smart cities, digital payment, e-commerce, technological start-ups, technology in transport and logistics, technology in education and e-learning platforms, technology in media among others’’ he added.

He invited interested companies and start-ups in the technological space to take advantage of this opportunity.

‘’We invite all companies and start-ups in the tech space or who have tech products and services to promote, to contact us for partnership opportunities. Wear your tech lenses and join us in virtual reality’’ he stated.
