Renowned dancehall musician, Stonebwoy, has issued a press release through his label, Burniton Music Group, condemning accusations made by ex-signee, Kelvyn Boy, of the Stonegad being the brain behind the attack landed on him a day prior.

This clarification came after Kelvyn Boy posted some shady tweets which seem to be directed at Stonebwoy, accusing him of being responsible for the attack rendered on him yesterday when he was called upon to grace the launch of a new branch of one of the biggest appliance shops in the country, in Ashaiman.

The press release, dated for 22nd June, 2020, described Kelvyn Boy’s actions as “imputing criminal conduct” against the label’s President and CEO.

Stating the reason for the issuance of the release, it read, “These imputations of criminal conduct are very scandalous, and calculated to cause disaffection for Stonebwoy, our organization and our brand. It is for this reason that we are issuing this statement to set the records straight and correct any erroneous impression that may be created in the minds of the discerning public as a result of these tweets and media reports”.

According to the label, they are too focused on elevating Ghana through the recently released Anloga Junction album and have not the energy to plan an attack on an artiste who was voluntarily excommunicated from the music group.

“As such, we have instructed our lawyers to take the appropriate steps to vindicate the legal rights of Stonebwoy and the brand of our organization”, the release further stated.
