Women’s Premier League receive support from Kaysports Ltd

The multinational sporting consortium, Kaysports Limited has made some remarkable contributions to support the Women’s league in the country.

As part of efforts to support the league in these trying times, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, Kwame Owusu-Ameyaw donated 160 packs of bottled water and 16 packs of nose masks which are to be distributed evenly amongst the 16 clubs.

Kwame Owusu-Ameyaw noted with concern how the Male League received so much attention from the entire country whilst the Women’s League was neglected. And proceeded to encourage both the government and other private entities to support the Women’s league.

“We want to help with the little we have because we have noticed that women players are trying their best but they’re not getting the needed support. Kaysports has come to help raise sponsorship for clubs in Ghana in terms of club management and marketing. We are yet to officially launch Kaysports but when the leadership of the Women’s Premier League Committee called on us. We could not stay our help because a friend in need is a friend indeed,” he stated.

The items were received by the Chairperson of the Women’s league, Hillary Boateng and her Deputy Rosalind Koramah Amoh in a brief ceremony at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) secretariat.

The two expressed their appreciation for the kind gesture shown them by Kaysports Limited and prayed their relationship grew more.

“We want to thank Kaysports limited for coming to our aid in these difficult times. We will distribute these to the players to aid them because some players go to the beaches to train and they need to protect themselves. I call on the corporate world to come to our aid just like Kaysports limited.”

Hillary pleaded with players to adhere to the safety measures and keep safe.

“We pray that when the clubs share these masks to them, they will protect themselves.”

Kaysports Ltd is an international sports consortium made up of business professionals who work collectively to offer customized services to their clientele.

The company works with people, activities, businesses, and organizations involved in producing, facilitating, promoting, or organizing any activity, experience, or business enterprise focused on sports.
