The Technical Director of Dreams FC, Abdul Karim Zito has added his voice to the call for top coaches to join the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Maxwell Konadu after his appointment as head coach of Asante Kotoko called on top coaches in the country to take up positions in the Premier League which will whip up the excitement and bring back the love.

Abdul Karim Zito in an interview on Ghana’s number one sports station Happy FM, seconded the idea of more top coaches joining the league.

According to him, their presence will make the league interesting and attractive.

“If we have experience coaches and they are idle it doesn’t make the work go on. The top coaches should be involved and not sit at home idle. I agree with Maxwell Konadu that the top coaches should come to the Premier League.”, he told Odi Asempa Oware on Anopa Bosuo Sports on Happy FM.

“If David Duncan and Coach Sarpong return to the league as coaches I will be happy”, he added.

On the seminar organized by the Ghana Football Association for all Premier, Division One and Women’s League coaches he said,  “The seminar was fantastic and we learnt  about the do’s and don’ts of the game. If we have to bring back the love there are certain things we have to do to change”.

Coach Zito also revealed that the Football Association will impose heavy fines on coaches who misconduct themselves

“Coaches will now be fined heavily who misconduct themselves”., he added.
