In a touching display of unity and camaraderie within Ghana’s football fraternity, Vice President of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), Tetteh Zutah, and General Secretary Anthony Baffoe, paid a heartfelt visit to the ailing Legon Cities goalkeeper, William Essu.

This visit underscores the PFAG’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of its members, especially during challenging times such as when a fellow footballer is battling illness.

Tetteh Zutah and Anthony Baffoe arrived at William Essu’s residence with warm smiles and words of encouragement, with the aim of boosting the spirits of the talented shot-stopper, who has been grappling with health issues in recent times.

Known for his outstanding skills in the goalposts, Essu was deeply moved by the visit and the genuine concern shown by these prominent figures in Ghanaian football.

As a union dedicated to the welfare and prosperity of professional footballers in Ghana, the PFAG has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to providing support to Essu throughout his recovery journey.

The PFAG firmly believes that the strength of the union lies in its ability to stand by its members when they need it most. During the visit, they conveyed the importance of staying resilient and persevering through challenges, both in the world of football and in life.

This heartwarming demonstration of solidarity reflects the broader commitment of PFAG to stand with its members during times of adversity.

The visit also serves as a poignant reminder that, beyond their roles as athletes, these footballers are human beings who can lean on one another for support and inspiration when facing life’s challenges.

PFAG has pledged to continue its unwavering support for footballers, emphasizing that they are not just with the footballers but for the footballers, exemplifying the union’s dedication to the well-being of its members and the unity within Ghana’s footballing community.
