Sudanese giants Al Hilal will be declared winners of the CAF Champions League tie against Asante Kotoko per the CAF regulations as the Ghanaian side were unable to raise a side for the game.
The CAF regulations states that a team must raise a minimum number of players (11 players including goalkeepers) +4 substitutes) to play a match).
The Porcupine Warriors failed to raise a side for the game as eight of its players had tested positive for the COVID-19 after tests results were released.
With CAF rules of 15 players needed to play the game Asante Kotoko will be considered to have lost the match 2-0.

In a statement from the Match Commissioner to CAF, Amir Hassan, Asante Kotoko failed to raise a team for the game leading to the match been called off.

Meanwhile Asante Kotoko have sent a petition to CAF over the COVID-19 test results as they alleged the results have been tempered with.
