All set for grand finale of YFM/Hunter’s pool tourney

The final tourney to determine the King at the pool tables in the YFM/Hunter’s pool tournament has been scheduled for Friday, January 7 2022.

The YFM/Hunter’s pool tournament which began a few weeks ago has seen various personalities emerge victorious at the sector stages and now, the best pool players across the length and breadth of the country will face off at the Accra Sports Stadium long tennis court in the battle of royalty.

The 32 finalists representing the Greater Accra, Western, Central, Eastern, Ashanti and the Bono regions will compete for the ultimate prize pot of Gh₵10,000, cases of Hunters and a medal to signify their reign, and most importantly a year of bragging rights.

A wild card in this year’s tournament will be Prince Norgah, an adroit at the pool table and reigning King of the YFM/Hunter’s pool tournament.

Congratulating the finalists and urging them to deliver an impressive performance, Head of the Y Triangle (Y107.9FM, Y97.9FM and Y102.5FM), Osei Kuffour stated, “The final tournament is going to be nothing but a display of skill, tenacity and beauty as promised by the finalists. The tourney will be a sight to behold and I use this opportunity to congratulate all 32 finalists as it has not been an easy journey.”

Aside from the ultimate prize pot, Osei Kuffuor disclosed the 1st and 2nd runner ups of the tourney will receive medals, cue sticks, cases of Hunters and electronic gadgets. Other award categories include; Best Shot, Fastest Win and the Most Pot in One Play.
