Highlife Musician, Daniel Amakye Dede has confirmed reports making rounds that he was involved in an accident with rapper, Michael Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie.
According to him, the accident happened on the Kumasi-Agogo road on their way to Agogo to perform at a music concert he organized in his hometown.
Videos of Sarkodie involved in an accident has gone viral on social media and has attracted lots of attention, especially after the death of Dancehall star, Ebony who died in a car crash earlier this year.
However, a cross-section of Ghanaians have raised doubts about the authenticity of the video, describing it as a publicity stunt to promote the Rapper’s Road safety Campaign Song.
But speaking to Adom News, the ‘Iron Boy’ hit maker confirmed that they were indeed involved in an accident.
He said even though they were traumatized, it did not stop them from performing at the show.
Meanwhile, the rapper in a tweet in the early hours of Tuesday confirmed he was safe.
He tweeted to his 1.65 million followers:Last night was pure madness with the people of Agogo … Day didn’t start too well but one energy I try never to entertain is the “Negative” One ..You should too God keep us all Safe I Love all of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
