One of Ghana’s pacesetting radio brands, Happy 98.9 FM as part of its engagement with loyal listeners will on Friday, September 28 2023, bring its ‘Happy on Wheels’ show to listeners at Amasaman and its environs.

‘Happy on Wheels’ is an initiative by Happy FM that aims at taking radio closer to its audience as part of the stations’ community engagement objective.

The people of Amasaman and those living in its environs will experience a live session of Ghana’s favorite political talk show, “Epa Hoa Daben” live at the Amasaman lorry station.

It will be a great opportunity for residents and people who ply their trade around Amasaman and its environs to interact with host of ‘Epa Hoa Daben’, Kwadwo Sefah-Danquah and team.

Current Affairs Coordinator at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company, Isaac Addae disclosed that the initiative is to involve the local community and also give them the opportunity to share the issues affecting them on radio.

“The major focus is about the issues faced by the people of Amasaman. We are also looking at drivers and challenges of drivers such as bad roads, ticketing etc. There will also be a general conversation about transportation and spare parts for their work,” he said.

“We are also engaging the traders there as well as the Assembly to gauge their efforts in addressing the issues confronted by the people in the municipality among other matters,” he added.

Head of Marketing and Communication at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC), Bridget Mensah in her remark said, “Happy On Wheels forms part of our marketing strategy to highlight pending issues affecting communities which Amasaman is not left out, hence I would like to encourage listeners and people living within the area and its environs to take hold of this opportunity to seek the change they want to see in their community.”
