The Member of Parliament for Aowin Constituency, Oscar Ofori Larbi has been banished by the Aowin Traditional Council not to step his foot on their land.
The Council, led by Chief of Omanpe, Nana Oppong Payin III, banished the Member of Parliament by pouring Libation and slaughtering of sheep.
According to the Traditional Council, the Member of Parliament has allegedly fabricated false accusations against their paramount Chief and other Chiefs in the Aowin Traditional area.
They also alleged that Oscar Ofori Larbi has disrespected them and they can no longer regard him as their MP and due to this, they will not allow him to step his foot in any community within their jurisdiction.
However, the council emphasized that they do not have any issues with the ruling National Democratic Congress.
Henceforth, the government should channel any developmental projects through the Western Regional Minister or yet to be appointed Municipal Chief Executive, they said.
