APC to unveil running mate at GNAT hall

APC to unveil running mate at GNAT hall

Officials and supporters of the All People’s Congress are gathered at the Ghana National Association of Teachers Hall for the official unveiling of a running mate to presidential candidate and flagbearer, Dr. Hassan Ayariga.

The event is marked as a major highlight of the party’s journey onto a hopeful victory in the upcoming elections.

The unveiling follows a campaign tour which took place in June earlier this year in Bawku.

The event also marks the inception of the Great Alliance Ghana which will highlight the APC’s efforts to champion an ‘all – inclusive governance’ policy.

Speaking ahead of the unveiling, APC’s National Women’s Organizer, Bliss Atsufui Sosu-Honu explained that the APC has come to correct the mistakes that have been made by previous governments which she said has left Ghana in a state of despair. She noted that
Dr. Ayariga along with his running mate will set Ghana on the right track. “Ghana has been left in a state of despair because of the duopoly of the NDC and the NPP this one comes for eight years and then passes on to the other for another eight years; Ghana needs a change.” she said.

The All People’s Congress attained a provisional certificate on February 2016 and earned an official electoral certificate as an approved political party to contest in Ghana’s general elections.
