Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of Brazilian striker Michael Vinicius on a free transfer.

The former Fluminense striker joins the Porcupine Warriors on a two-and half year deal.

“The Brazilian forward formerly of Fluminense (Brazil) , Linkoping City and Vasalunds IF (Sweden) joins us on a two-and-a-half year deal”, a statement from the club indicated.

Asante Kotoko are strengthening their squad ahead of the second round of the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors have made two signings to beef up their attack following the departure of Kwame Poku to USM Algers.

Michael Vinicius will team up with his compatriot Fabio Gama at Asante Kotoko.
