Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has assured the people of the region of his commitment to advancing President John Dramani Mahama’s vision of job creation, infrastructure development, and improved sanitation as he officially begins his tenure.

Upon his arrival at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council, he was warmly welcomed by the Coordinating Director and other officials before embarking on a tour of the various departments. During his interactions, he emphasized the need for law and order while assuring residents that security concerns within the region would be effectively addressed.

Dr. Amoakohene underscored sanitation as a major priority for the government, highlighting its significance in the president’s broader agenda for national development. He stressed that efforts would be intensified to improve sanitation conditions across the region.

Reaffirming President Mahama’s reputation for infrastructure development, he indicated that bridging infrastructure gaps remains a key focus. He expressed confidence that with collective effort, the government’s initiatives in sanitation, health, trade, commerce, job creation, agriculture, and mining could be successfully implemented within the four-year mandate.

He encouraged stakeholders to work together towards achieving these goals, emphasizing the importance of unity and determination in driving progress for the region.
