The BBC is set to reveal startling claims against the late Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua, also referred to as TB Joshua, in a three-part investigative programme.

Scheduled for release on January 8, the documentary unveils a dark side to the deceased founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

The investigation, based on interviews with over 30 former members and workers of SCOAN, details instances of abuse, harassment, rape, manipulation, and staged miracles allegedly orchestrated by Joshua over a span of two decades.

Disturbing revelations also surround the collapse of a SCOAN guesthouse in 2014, with claims that the church misled its congregation about the incident.

Former SCOAN worker Emmanuel exposes the false narrative presented to members, asserting that the building had a structural defect. British attendee Rae corroborates this, revealing Joshua’s insistence on raising the flawed structure against professional advice.

The documentary further uncovers a dark aftermath to the 2014 tragedy, with SCOAN compensating victims’ families with cash, interpreted by some as “hush money.” Allegations suggest that TB Joshua personally threatened families who refused compensation and went to great lengths to shield the true extent of the disaster, including dismembering individuals under the rubble and using SCOAN ambulances to transport bodies.

Concerns concerning the legitimacy of SCOAN and the legacy of TB Joshua, who was previously regarded by millions as a spiritual leader, surface as the world waits for the startling revelations.
