The use of light bulbs has enormous benefits resulting in domestic productivity and proper eyesight seemingly taken for granted in the major cities of the country. Lighting helps us be productive members of society from learning and reading as a child to working after dark as an adult yet some local communities within the Sunyani West constituency live without an efficient lighting solution.

The end goal of every leader is to meet the needs of the people, impact and transform lives at the communal level; a distinct hallmark identified with the current Presiding Member (PM) and MP hopeful, Hon. Bernard Oduro Takyi, who is widely known for his global leadership credentials and development-driven projects.

Sunyani West constituents having noticed his knack for aiding deprived communities to improve made a passionate appeal to Hon. Bernard Oduro Takyi. The inhabitants of local communities such as Kwabenakuma, Mmaamp3hia, Nkranketewa, Koduakrom & Kwaku Badu Krom of Nsoatre Township appealed to Hon. Bernard and asked to be connected to the National Grid.

The appeal resulted in an intervention by Hon. Bernard Oduro Takyi to the VRA to connect those communities to the National Grid on February 25th, 2020.

In a boost, Hon. Bernard Oduro Takyi promised to supply all those Communities with Street Bulbs/Lights. This will be done on March 3rd, 2020 (TUESDAY).

Further, he thanked the local communities, the NPP family and Traditional Councils in these communities for the cooperation so far.
