Black Princesses Coach Yusif Basigi Insists They Will Not Be Scared Of France At World Cup

Black Princesses coach Yusif Basigi says his players will not be shudder when they face France at the 2018 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
Ghana have been drawn alongside host country France, the Netherlands and New Zealand in Group A.
The Princesses played out a pulsating 2-2 draw against France at the 2016 edition in PNG Football Stadium in Papua New Guinea- a result that effectively extinguished Ghana’s dream of second stage of the competition.
The team will square off against France in the opening fixture of Group at the Guy Piriou Stadium on August 5, but coach Yusif Basigi is unperturbed by the large number of supporters that will rally behind the host nation in the match.
“You can’t under estimate any team. We have to prepare well to meet any team and play well. We have to psych the girls up mentally because the home crowd won’t favour them in that game,” Basigi noted on Happy FM.
“Every team is beatable but it’s too early to point out which team is the strongest or the weakest in the group.”
After facing the French, Ghana will play the first nation to qualify for the tournament, New Zealand before rounding off against the Netherlands.
The 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be the 9th edition of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup will kick-start from the 5th to the 24th of August.
