Black Satellites to participate in 2022 Toulon tournament in France

Ghana’s Black Satellites will be participating in the 2022 Toulon tournament which kicks off next month in France.

The U-20 Toulon tournament bounces back after a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The countries selected to participate in the tournament are mostly by invitation.

Ghana last participated in the tournament 15 years ago and will be making a return to the event for the 2022 edition.

The Black Satellites following their abysmal performance in the WAFU U20 Championship are still in camp preparing for the tournament.

Ghana has been pitted against Mexico, Venezuela and Indonesia in Group B.

The Black Satellites take on Mexico in their opening game on May 30.

The tournament is expected to kick off from May 29-12 June, 2022.

Group B

Ghana U-20

Indonesia U-23

Mexico U-20

Venezuela U-23

Mexico U-20 vs Ghana U-20 – May 30 – 15:30 GMT

Ghana vs Indonesia U-23 – June 2 – 11:30 GMT

Venezuela U-23 vs Ghana U-20 – June 5 – 12:00 GMT
