In the Spirit of celebrating women in Sekondi Takoradi, the BossUp 100 Foundation hosted the second edition of its highly anticipated “Exceptional Ladies Gathering under the theme Accelerate Her” This impactful event brought together a diverse and powerful assembly of women, all united in the pursuit of empowerment, inspiration, and progress.

The foundation, renowned for its commitment to fostering female entrepreneurship and leadership, curated a day filled with insightful discussions, motivational speeches, and networking opportunities. The “Exceptional Ladies Gathering” served as a platform to celebrate the achievements of women across various sectors, while also addressing the challenges they continue to face.

The event kicked off with a powerful keynote address by a seasoned expert in social development, gender equality and peacebuilding from the regional Office, Maribel Akuokor Okine. A hospitality business consultant from iHospitality, Kafui Marcia Bortsie, shared how to ensure excellent and impeccable service delivery in whatever industry one finds herself

The regional editor for the Ghana News Agency, Mildred Siabi -Mensah emphasized the importance of resilience and self-belief. Her words resonated deeply with the audience, setting the tone for a day of empowerment and solidarity.

A Seasoned banker at Ahantaman Rural Bank, Betty Agyeiwa Mends, stressed the need for Women to own their finances, which, according to her, is a cornerstone of individual empowerment and broader societal progress

Panel discussions featuring The Regional Correspondent for Joy News, Inna Thalia Quansah, a Health Promotion Officer from the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital, Eunice Erzoe Eshun, and a sensational gospel artist and philanthropist, Vivian Annan delved into crucial topics such as:

Breaking Barriers in Leadership: Examining the strategies for overcoming gender bias and achieving leadership positions.
The Power of Entrepreneurship: Exploring the challenges and triumphs of female entrepreneurs and the importance of supporting women-owned businesses.
Building a Stronger Community: Discussing the role of women in driving positive social change and fostering a supportive environment.

Beyond the insightful discussions, the gathering provided a valuable platform for networking, allowing attendees to connect, share experiences, and build lasting relationships. The atmosphere was charged with a sense of camaraderie and mutual support, highlighting the power of women coming together.
