A touching story of generosity has emerged involving prominent businesswoman Rashida Saani, who donated $25,000 for a life-saving kidney transplant for former colleague Claus Ansah Acquah.

The donation came to light when Acquah, now recovered and back in Ghana, shared his gratitude on social media. According to his post, Acquah and Rashida had worked together at Metro tv and e.TV years ago, though they weren’t particularly close at the time.

“At the end of her program each day, she would quickly get in her car and speed out without hanging around to chat,” Acquah recalled, noting that he understood her rush as she reportedly had other professional commitments.

Ten years after their paths diverged, Rashida discovered Acquah’s GoFundMe campaign seeking support for a kidney transplant. She immediately contacted his wife and provided the full amount needed for the procedure in India.

“She didn’t just save me, she saved my entire generation,” Acqauh wrote. “We’ve tried repeatedly to express our gratitude, but she avoids the spotlight for her charitable acts.”

When contacted about the story, Rashida simply stated, “Helping people when they need it is the human thing to do. We all need help at some point in our lives.” She added that she hopes Acqauh will “live life to the fullest” following his successful surgery.

This isn’t the first time Miss Saani has extended help to those in need. Several sources confirm she has quietly supported many individuals facing various hardships, consistently declining public recognition for her generosity.

“Rashida, you wiped away my family’s tears,” Acqauh concluded in his message. “Your generosity and kindness are unmatched. God will continue to bless you abundantly.”
