Goalkeeper’s Trainer of Union Sportive des Forces Armees of Burkina Faso, Compaorè Rashid says they are ready for their semifinal clash against Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana at the Stade Robert Champroux.

Union Sportive des Forces Armees will face Hasaacas Ladies FC in the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B qualifiers in Ivory Coast.

Speaking in an interview with happyghana.com, Compaorè Rashid stated that his players are more than ready to beat the Ghanaian giants and qualify for the finals.

“I can promise you that our girls are ready to fight and make our nation proud. We are going to win this game because we have won two games and we will beat Hasaacas to reach to finals and qualify for the main competition in Egypt.
“We know that Hasaacas Ladies are a good side but the girls are determined to get to the finals of the competition”.

On preparations ahead of the game he said, “We are doing our usual and normal preparation ahead of the game against Hasaacas just like we did with our previous opponents.

“Our first game against the home side, Eleven Sisters was not easy for the girls but we fought hard and won 1-0 then we had to play another tough opponent which is Amis du Monde Football Club from Togo which we won 2-1. We are in this tournament to learn because these girls you see are our U17, U18 and U20 players playing in our local league. We don’t have any foreigners on the team.”-he added.

He however stated that he won’t be surprised if they lose tomorrow even though they are fully prepared.
“I won’t be surprised if Hasaacas Ladies beat us tomorrow because in football, anything can happen but I can promise you that our girls are ready to fight and make our nation proud”.

USFA from Burkina Faso accumulated a maximum of six points out of two games to top group A ahead of their counterparts from Togo and the Cote D’Ivoire whilst Hasaacas Ladies FC accumulated three points out of two games. They lost to River Angels of Nigeria 2-0 in the first game before their 3-0 victory over Niger’s AS Police de Niamey.
