“After the President’s directive for all public gatherings to be suspended, the NIA was still at post. They even worked yesterday but as at today, the registration has been halted.”

K Baah told host of Showbiz Xtra, Doctar Cann that he visited various centers today and the only one opened was not registering people but was rather distributing their cards to them.

He commended the NIA for finally heeding to the call of the Ghana Medical Association and other Civil Service Organisation’s to suspended the registration.

The NIA came under severe criticism from the opposition, National Democratic Congress and other institutions after it refused to suspend the registration process in the Eastern Region when the President had given a directive for all public gatherings to be suspended.
