A recent medical outreach in Yendi District has brought hope and healing to hundreds of people in the community. The outreach, organized by Deeper Christian Life Ministry, and spearheaded by the Campus Fellowship, provided free healthcare services to 543 patients in Lanja and Bunbong communities.

The medical team, comprising of dedicated healthcare professionals, treated patients with various health conditions, including malaria, hypertension, and tuberculosis. Additionally, the team provided counseling, medication, and medical tests, showcasing their compassion and expertise.

Beyond physical healing, the outreach also aimed to touch lives spiritually. Evangelism efforts led to 37 patients accepting Christ, and many more were inspired by the love and care shown by the medical team and missionaries.

The National Campus Coordinator, Pastor Francis Fosu, shared a powerful message: “God, who forgives our sins, also heals our sickness. We thank God for the doctors, but God can also heal without them. However, before God heals our physical sickness, He wants to heal our spiritual sickness, which is sin.”

Mrs. Veronica Fosu, the National Campus Coordinator’s wife, admonished the women to “stay in the Lord, honor and respect their husbands, and live a life that will draw their husbands to Christ.” She also advised the young ladies to “remain chaste, focus on their education and trade, and take God very seriously.”

Deeper Christian Life Ministry, along with the doctors, nurses and other medical professionals of the church demonstrated their commitment to serving humanity and spreading love.

The outreach was made possible through intensive preparation and publicity efforts, ensuring a strong turnout from the community. The medical team worked tirelessly to provide comprehensive services, while missionaries and evangelists shared the word of God and prayed with patients.

The impact of this outreach extends beyond the immediate medical care provided. It has brought hope and joy to the people of Yendi District, reminding them that they are not forgotten or overlooked.

As one patient remarked, “I was struggling with my health, but now I feel seen and cared for. Thank you to the medical team and Deeper Christian Life Ministry for this wonderful outreach.”
