WAEC to release 2025 BECE private candidate results today The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that results for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for private candidates will be released by the end of today, Friday, September 5. Speaking at a media briefing, WAEC’s Public Relations Officer, John Kapi, confirmed the release timeline and shared key statistics. “A total of 1,661 private candidates, 858 males and 803 females, registered for this year’s BECE. This marks a 19.49% increase compared to last year,” he stated. According to John Kapi, the provisional results for school candidates were released earlier on August 23, with 603,328 students participating from 20,395 schools. WAEC noted a 5.99% rise in school candidate numbers. Kapi also addressed examination integrity, saying, “Candidates who infringed on the rules governing the conduct of the examination were appropriately sanctioned following investigations and the advice of the Council’s relevant committee.”

Dodzi Kemeh calls out Obodai Sai for WBO African Middleweight fight

On September 13 2019, Dodzi Kemeh issued a challenge to Obodai Sai for a World Boxing Organization (WBO) African Middleweight contest.

Kemeh, a rising star in the boxing world, is known for his impressive footwork and powerful punches. He has a record of 25 wins and 2 losses, with 21 of those wins coming by way of knockout.

Obodai Sai, on the other hand, is a seasoned veteran with a record of 25 wins and 8 losses. He is known for his formidable defense and his ability to withstand punishment.

The prospect of a Kemeh vs. Sai matchup has fans of the sport buzzing, as it would pit two skilled fighters against each other in what is sure to be a thrilling contest. Both men have expressed their eagerness to get in the ring and face off, making it clear that they are ready for the challenge. Speaking through his interpreter, Gabriel Boateng, Kemeh indicated he was ready to move to the next level in his career and Sai cannot stop him.
