Dr Adutwum commence 100 engineers’ vision in Bosomtwe Constituency with 30 student scholarships

Former Deputy Minister for Education, and the Member of Parliament for the Bosomtwe Constituency in the Asante Region, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has offered full scholarships to 30 students pursue their studies in various engineering courses at the University of Mines and Technology (UMat), Tarkwa.

The scholarship package includes full tuition fees with accommodation fully paid for the duration of studies.

According to the MP, who disclosed this via Facebook earlier today, the gesture forms part of his vision to raised 100 engineers within the next 10 years out of his constituency.

Meanwhile, the MP has travelled with the students to Tarkwa as they report for the commencement of their courses of study at the University today.

“This morning, I bid farewell to 30 students from Bosomtwe who are on their way to the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) at Tarkwa. They are going to pursue various courses in Engineering fully funded by me.” the MP announced.

“Fees paid, accommodation provided and a bus ready to convey them to Tarkwa, I encouraged them to aim high, study hard, read wide and pursue success.”

“My vision of ensuring that Bosomtwe gets 100 engineers within the next ten years is on course,” he concluded.
