In a glittering ceremony held at the prestigious Kempinski hotel, the Ghana Pharma & Healthcare Awards ’23 recognized the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations in the healthcare industry.

Among the winners were DrugNet and their innovative online initiative, as well as the popular “Ask Your Pharmacist Health Show,” which took home the award for Advocacy/Promotion of Community Pharmacy and Practice.

DrugNet, a leading provider of pharmaceutical services, received the coveted award for Community Pharmacy Online Initiative Of The Year. The accolade acknowledges their groundbreaking efforts in revolutionizing access to healthcare services through their online platform.
DrugNet’s online initiative has been touted to have transformed the way Ghanaians interact with pharmacies, making medication ordering and information easily accessible to individuals from the comfort of their homes.

The “Ask Your Pharmacist Health Show” was also honoured with the award for Advocacy/Promotion of Community Pharmacy and Practice. The show hosted by a team of highly knowledgeable pharmacists who provide expert advice and guidance on various health-related topics.

The campaign has been very helpful in spreading awareness of the value of neighborhood pharmacies and their function as readily available healthcare options. The “Ask Your Pharmacist Health Show” has inspired people to make educated decisions about their health and wellbeing by promoting community pharmacy services and emphasizing their advantages.
