Nana Kwesi Qunasah, the Omankrado of Gomoa Fetteh, has implemented a strict prohibition on drug use, including substances like “red” and marijuana, during the Easter Monday festivities on Gomoa Fetteh Beach.

This decision aims to safeguard lives and uphold the community’s values during the Easter celebrations.

Nana Qunasah emphasized that attendees must respect these guidelines.

He assured that the traditional council, has put robust security measures in place to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable event.

These measures also include efforts to prevent drowning incidents, with a plea for revellers to avoid consuming drugs or alcohol before entering the sea.

Echoing his sentiments, the area’s sub-chiefs encouraged the youth to act responsibly and show discipline, ensuring a safe and incident-free celebration for everyone.

This proactive stance highlights the community’s commitment to creating a positive and secure festive atmosphere.
