Electoral Commission Chairperson, Jean Mensah, has assured all political parties of providing them with soft copies of the revised voter’s register including a template, on a hard drive.

‘’The commission would present the register on hard drives to all political parties’’.

According to her, over the last few weeks, the commission has worked hard to ensure that all discrepancies regarding the voter’s register that were identified by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are fixed.

“Over the last two weeks, we have spent our energies to clean the provisional voters register and to ensure that the information presented on the register is accurate. Simply put, we have worked to ensure that every applicant who registered in 2020, 2023 and 2024 are on the voter register’’.

Madam Mensah added that, the commission is confident that the revised provisional voter’s register would be a marked departure from the previously presented one during the exhibition exercise.

“We are confident that the revised Provisional Voters Register that we present starting today is a marked departure from the register we presented during the exhibition exercise”.

“Largely, all discrepancies identified to date have been fixed, as we promised, during our last meeting starting today, October 15, to October 19, all registered voters will have a second opportunity to review their details online and report anything they find in our district offices”, she added.
