The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a planned maintenance shutdown of FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor, operated by Eni Ghana Exploration and Production Limited.

According to a statement issued on September 11, 2024, the shutdown of the Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel is set to occur from Thursday, September 12, to Wednesday, September 18, 2024, as part of routine maintenance activities.

The statement highlighted that the shutdown will lead to a temporary reduction in gas supply.

Government has however assured the public that, alternative measures will be implemented to maintain fuel supply during the maintenance period.
