ECG to Undertake Planned Maintenance in Parts of Greater Accra on July 8

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of the Greater Accra Region on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance electricity service delivery.

In a public notice released on Monday, July 7, 2025, ECG stated that the planned maintenance exercise will take place from 9:00am to 5:00pm, during which electricity supply will be interrupted in several communities.

The affected areas include Mobole, Otsebreku, Okushibri, Apollonia, Jerusalem, Kubekro, Katamanso, Promised Land, Elegant Homes, Data Centre, Accra New Town Revenue Centre, Mallam Atta Junction, Kpehe, Adenta New Site, WASS, Adenta Sakora, Kenkey House, Mandela, SCC, Sunny Coast, Abease, Achiama, Obeyeyie, Ayikai Doblo, Mallam Junction, South McCarthy Hill, Weija Junction, White Cross, Choice, Sampa Valley, Kingshasha, Korkordjor, Kaisa Valley, Domi CFC and surrounding areas.

ECG has apologized for the inconvenience the maintenance may cause and urged residents and businesses within the affected zones to take necessary precautions.
