Some branches of Ghana’s favourite pizza brand, Eddy’s Pizza are now Cheezzy Pizza. The announcement was made at a plush event organised at the flagship Ring Road branch of Eddy’s Pizza.
Speaking about the rebranding from Eddy’s Pizza to Cheezzy Pizza, Edwin Quartey, owner of Cheezzy Pizza said: ‘’We have upped the game a bit. We changed the ambience, the setting is a little different, the lighting, the colour scheme is upped from Eddy’s.’’
Edwin Quartey also shared what Cheezzy Pizza has in store for its cherished customers.
‘’Call ahead that you want to order the pizza with snails in it, give us an hour and we will get it for you. You want anchovies on it, you like ‘Momorni’ on your pizza, we will get it for you. it’s your pizza, your way. We have the regular toppings as well. You choose the crust you want. Thin crust or thick crust, with your sauce, you either choose regular tomato sauce or barbecue sauce and your toppings, whatever you fancy, you get it so it’s customer focus’’ he said.
The customers are not only spoilt for choice he indicated that how quickly you receive your order is of uttermost important to Cheezzy Pizza.
‘’Now delivery is going to be faster and it’s free. Very soon it’s going to be a timed delivery. You get it within the allotted time or it’s going to be free’’ he added.
He went on to talk about the sizes that are available at the various branches.
‘’We have small size, we have medium, we have large, we have the jumbo size and also the super family size. I can put on record that Cheezzy and our sister company Eddy’s, we have the largest pizza in Ghana’’ he stated.
He revealed that the Pizza brand would have expanded to Kumasi if not for the COVID-19 pandemic
‘’We should have been in Kumerica this year however, COVID-19 threw things off a little bit but God willing, we will be back. We would be in Kumerica, we should be in Takoradi, hopefully before Christmas next year and hopefully Cape Coast and Koforidua’’ he said.
The branches that are now Cheezzy Pizza are Ring Road, Dansoman, Adenta, Osu, Spintex, Kasoa, Ashiaman and Haatso. When you buy one pizza you get one free at all Cheezzy Pizza branches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but at the Haatso branch you buy one get one free everyday.
