Ghana-based Nigerian social entrepreneur, Tom-Chris Emewulu, is working to break the Guinness World Record for the longest interviewing marathon, aiming for an impressive 96 hours.

The current longest interviewing marathon of 55 hr and 24 seconds is held by Chizoba Clara Kronborg, a Nigerian based in Marbella, Spain. She achieved this record from 8th to 10th March 2024.

Emewulu aims to break that record through this year’s edition of Student Entrepreneurship Week, a growth-focused startup event he established in 2018 to help budding entrepreneurs learn from investors and experienced entrepreneurs from Africa, the US, the UK, and beyond.

The interviewing marathon is scheduled for October 28-31 at SFAN Head Office, King Solomon’s Height, 26 Mango Street, Spintex, Accra.

Tom-Chris plans to use this Guinness World Record attempt to mobilize scholarship tuition for 100 young Africans aged 16-35 kick-starting their careers through ReadyforWork, a digital career accelerator he and his team launched at the 2021 edition of the entrepreneurship week.
