With just a day for eligible voters to exercise their franchise in the December 7, 2024 general elections, various bus terminals in the Greater Accra Region have witnessed massive crowds as they seek to travel to their various communities and hometowns to cast their vote.

Happy Kasiɛbɔ’s visit to various bus terminals like VIP bus terminal, O.A travel and tour, Neoplan station and STC at Circle in the Greater Accra Region showed travelers are stranded in long queues.

Speaking to Happy Kasiɛbɔ, some of the stranded travelers stated that despite the unavailability of buses in the various stations, nothing will stop them from traveling from Accra to their hometowns to vote.

One of the traveler’s revealed that, he got to the station at 4:00 am but as at 10:00 am he was still in a long queue.

Another traveler also noted that the situation at the bus terminals is not pleasant though but he will never give up till he gets a bus to vote for change.

They noted that no matter what, even if it’s deep in the night, they will still wait till they get a bus to their destination to exercise their franchise.
