The family of the late Member of Parliament for Akwatia, Ernest Yaw Kumi, will hold his one-week commemoration on Friday, August 29, 2025.
The event will take place at the Akyem Wenchi Funeral Grounds in the Eastern Region, starting at 7:00 a.m.
Family members say the ceremony, themed “My Hero Lives On,” will bring together relatives, friends, colleagues, political leaders, and community members to mourn and honour the late lawmaker.
