Felix Gyamfi appointed Acting Head of National Service Authority

Felix Gyamfi has been appointed Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority, effective January 22, 2025.

The announcement was conveyed in an official letter signed by Callistus Mahama, Secretary to President John Dramani Mahama.

The appointment, made under Article 195(1) of the Constitution and the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), is subject to the constitutionally required advice of the governing Board of the Authority, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.

Mr. Gyamfi has been directed to confirm his acceptance of the appointment within 14 days.

The National Service Authority plays a vital role in equipping Ghanaian youth for national development and the job market while fostering their empowerment through service to the nation.
