
Appiah-Kubi Baidoo, a former parliamentary candidate of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Sefwi Akontombra Constituency, has resigned officially from the party after over two decades of service.
In a letter addressed to the constituency chairman of the party, he cited years of mistreatment towards himself and his family as the reason for his decision.
According to him, all efforts, including written appeals to get the attention of the National Executives, have yielded no results
Despite this, he expressed gratitude for his time in the party and apologized to his supporters for any disappointment caused.
“I would like to thank the party for the opportunity to serve as a District Chief Executive and three times as its parliamentary candidate of the Sefwi Akontombra Constituency.”
