Renowned Ghanaian hiplife artist Gasmilla has released his first mixtape of the year titled ‘Bodietse’ (meaning “yourself” in Ga), a powerful collection of songs centered around self-reliance, perseverance, and personal growth. The four-track project, produced by Cause Trouble with mixing and mastering by Ubeatz and Cause Trouble, delivers a compelling narrative about individual empowerment and the importance of self-belief.

The mixtape features tracks including “Standby,” “Latest,” “Krokrome,” and “Fire Baptism,” each exploring different aspects of life’s journey and personal development.

“‘Bodietse’ isn’t just music ”it’s a message to everyone who’s ever felt alone in their journey,” says Gasmilla. “Through this mixtape, I want to remind people that your success or failure ultimately depends on you. The world might throw challenges at you, but with consistency and hard work, you can manifest your dreams into reality. Don’t wait for anyone’s approval or assistance; start today and keep pushing forward.”

The mixtape showcases Gasmilla’s versatility as an artist, touching on themes ranging from professional dedication in “Standby” to relationship wisdom in “Krokrome.” The project’s final track, “Fire Baptism,” offers a powerful meditation on personal transformation through adversity.

‘Bodietse’ will be available on all major streaming platforms on February 17th. Gasmilla is a prominent figure in Ghana’s hiplife music scene, known for his unique sound and meaningful lyrics. His music consistently delivers messages of empowerment and cultural pride while maintaining strong entertainment value.
