Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following their Matchday 11 Ghana Premier League encounter with FC Samartex 1996.
According to the GFA, the club is accused of breaching Section 34(6)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2025.
The charge stems from comments allegedly published on social media that the Association says were inciteful and posed a potential risk of violence against the match official.
The GFA indicated that such conduct amounts to misconduct and brings the integrity of the game into disrepute.
Asante Kotoko has been given until Wednesday, November 26, 2025, to officially respond to the charge.
