The Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) has debunked claims circulating on social media that, the party has withdrawn from contesting the presidential and parliamentary elections.
Speaking exclusively with happyghana.com, the General Secretary of the party, George Afful debunked the news.
According to him, the party and its leadership led by Philip Kwabena Agyemang filed their presidential nomination on Tuesday November 5, 2024 at the Office of the Electoral Commission.
“It is not true, we filed our nominations today at the EC’s office”.
He has therefore assured Ghanaians that, the party is still active in the presidential and parliamentary elections.
