The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has issued a warning to the general public, cautioning against fraudulent recruitment and enlistment advertisements currently circulating on various platforms.
In a press release dated June 4, 2025, and signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin of the Ghana Navy, who serves as the Acting Director General of Public Relations, the Armed Forces made it clear that there is no ongoing recruitment or enlistment exercise at this time.
“The Ghana Armed Forces is not undertaking any recruitments/enlistments yet. Any such advertisement/information of any form is fake and should be ignored,” the statement emphasized.
The public has been urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious recruitment claims to the appropriate authorities.
The GAF also reminded citizens that any genuine recruitment or enlistment announcements would be made exclusively through the Daily Graphic and The Ghanaian Times, the official and trusted outlets for such communication.
This statement comes amid rising cases of scams targeting job seekers, many of whom have been lured with false promises of military enlistment in exchange for money.
