
Ghana Deaf team paid courtesy call on Brazil ambassador
The Ghana Deaf Sports Association yesterday paid a courtesy call on the Brazilian Ambassador at his residence to formally inform him of their preparations towards the 2021 Summer Deaflympics which will be held in Caxias do Sul, Brazil from the 1st – 15th May 2022.
Ghana to participate in the upcoming summer Deaflympics games in Brazil in due that team Ghana paid a courtesy call on Brazil ambassador to Ghana to officially inform them about their participating.
Ghana team led by it chairman Mr Kingsley Nana Adu Asar and other term members went to the commission
Counselor Marco Saprano received the team on behalf of the ambassador and he promised to help Ghana in other to participate in the tournament
Speaking to the media at the event Marco Saprano said he’ll be very happy to see Ghana there and they will help Ghana to make it possible
“Sure it’ll be very nice to have Africa Country especially Ghana to participate in the tournament, Ghana and Brazil have a good relationship we’ll be very happy to have Ghana there. I think Ghana is doing a great job in sports I know you are building multipurpose centers across the country you are hosting the Africans Games in Accra and I think is very good investment for the country to be know abroad and this will create a lot of jobs for the youth so we are there to help”. He said
Mr Kingsley Nana Kweku Asah also thanked them for offering their support and also thanked the Ministry of Youth and Sports and also the National Sports Authority for collaborating with them for this meeting. He also urged the media to help promote the Disable Sport like the able ones. Money is the Key Factor for a successful tournament and he prays all goes well for Team Ghana to participate in the Summer Deaflympics in Caxias do Sul, Brazil.
Ghana is a hub of talents in all sporting disciplines and I believe the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Sports Authority will make things ready for the Ghana Deaf Sports Association to make the nation proud in Brazil come May this year.
