Samuel Aboabire has won the Greater Accra Regional Football Association seat after pulling an overwhelming majority in the elections held on Friday.
Aboabire popularly known as “Kaatar” flawed Eugene Jacquay his closest competitor in the elections by pulling 73 votes while Eugene Jacquye had 49 votes. Rev Emmanuel Ankomah and Dr Alfred Arthur had 14 and 3 votes respectively.
Aboabire will take over from Eddie Doku and serve as Chairman for the next four years.
