Bankroller of Division one side New Edubiase, Abdul Salam, has slammed the extension of the Normalisation Committee’s mandate to six months.

Earlier this week, FIFA extended the mandate of FA’s Normalisation Committee (NC) for another six months. This meaning that the four-member interim body has up to September 30 to complete their work.

The interim body of the FA requested for the extension after it become clear that they could not complete their work with the initial time frame.

FIFA agreed to extend their mandate by another six months. The world football governing body is yet to issue an official statement about the extension.

According to Abdul Salam Yakubu, the NC will destroy Ghana Football and they can never bring back football to it normalcy.

“Ghana football has collapsed. My interest in Ghana football is not even up to 20 percent. I don’t understand why the NC were given that 6 months extension. Things will be worse than before. Ghana football can never come back to it’s normal state after their (NC) mandate in office. They can never run football in the country even if they are given 3 years in office because football is not their job. Football needs to be manage by football people not any ordinary persons, ” he told Otec FM.
