Ghana Highway Authority announces maintenance works on Apedwa- Ejisu section of N6 Highway

The Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) has officially informed the public on the commencement of maintenance works along the Apedwa-Ejisu section of the N6 Highway.

GHA made this announcement in a release indicating that the road, will undergo these maintenance works as part of efforts to improve road safety and enhance driving conditions on what it touts as an ‘important route’.

The motoring public especially in the Eastern Region are being prompted to take note of certain protocols to be keenly adhered to by all commuters.

“During this period there will be some diversions, lane closures and intermittent delay in sections of the road.” a part of the release stated.

The Ghana Highway Authority emphasized its commitment to the commencement and completion of these highly important maintenance works as quickly and safely as possible, and hereby appeals for the cooperation and adherence of all road users to the speed limits and road safety protocols in the best interest of motoring public and road workers. “We plead with the motoring public to observe all the traffic management measures that have been put in place. This is necessary to reduce delays and ensure the safety of the motoring public and workers on site.”
