Ghana Referees Integrity Seminar begins

The Referee’s Integrity Seminar organized by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is currently underway at the Pentecost Convention Center near Kasoa.

The four-day seminar which starts today 10 December and ends on 13 December, 2019 will see over 200 referees attending the event.

Over 200 referees and assistant referees will attend the seminar, which will be led by renowned retired Mauritius referee Lim Kee Chong, who is Vice Chairman of the Referees Committee of CAF. Lim Kee Chong is also a member of FIFA’s Referees Committee.

The seminar is part of the GFA’s efforts to ensure that referees selected to officiate in the upcoming season uphold integrity and other tenets of refereeing

Two other top CAF and FIFA referees instructors joined Lim Kin Chong for the exercise and will be joined by 15 CAF instructors from Ghana for the exercise.

The Vice President of the Ghana Football Association Mark Addo, was present during the start of the program today.

He urged the referees to be professionals when the league starts.
