The organizers of the highly anticipated Ghana Sports Conference 2025 have announced the postponement of the event to September 2025 and will take place at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre.

The organizers, Perception Management International (PMI) stated that the decision was made to ensure broader stakeholder participation and allow for enhanced planning to deliver an even more impactful conference.

Originally themed “Elevate. Excel. Empower: Shaping Ghana’s Sporting Destiny,” the conference aims to bring together sports stakeholders, policymakers, athletes, and industry leaders to address key issues shaping the future of sports in Ghana.

The new date for the conference will be communicated in the coming weeks, with PMI assuring the public and all partners of their continued commitment to hosting a successful and inclusive event.
“This postponement is a strategic move to ensure that we deliver the high-level engagement and outcomes we envision for the Ghana Sports Conference,” said Martin Ankrah, Director at Perception Management International. “We are using the additional time to expand our outreach and secure even more diverse voices to enrich the discussions.” he said.

The Minister of Youth and Sports is expected to attend the event, which reflects the government’s commitment to driving sustainable growth and innovation within the sports sector.

The conference will maintain its focus on critical areas including grassroots development, sports financing, athlete welfare, gender inclusion in sports, and the business of sports in Ghana. Key sessions such as The Future of Ghanaian Football, Empowering Women in Sports, and Youth Development and Grassroots Sports will remain central to the agenda.

The Ghana Sports Conference is a platform designed to drive transformative conversations and strategic action for the advancement of sports in Ghana. It brings together key stakeholders from government, private sector, sports associations, and development organizations to address pressing issues such as grassroots development, sports financing, athlete welfare, gender inclusion, and the commercialization of sports.
