David Tetteh, a physiotherapist at the Accra Sports Stadium Clinic, has stated that most Ghanaian players suffer mostly from ankle and knee injuries due to the bad nature of our pitches.
According to him, knee and ankle injuries are the most common cases reported by players who visit the clinic.
Tetteh was speaking in an interview on Happy FM’s program to discuss issues on Health and Sanitation.
“Most of our players complain about ankle and knee injuries when they visit us. These players suffer from these injuries mostly because of the bad pitches they play on”, he told George “Alan Green” Mahamah.
“I will advise them to seek early treatment when they get these injuries”, he added.
