Ghanaians won’t be fooled by NPP’s trumpeting – Fiifi Kwetey

Ghanaian politician and Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ketu South Constituency, Fiifi Kwettey says that the ruling government has done nothing to improve living conditions in the country.

Speaking to Kwame Afrifa on Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben he said, “The Akufo-Addo led administration is just trumpeting about economic achievements whilst everything is collapsing all around us.”

On his authority, the country is in shambles with citizens suffering because of the actions and inactions of the current government.

“There’s nothing more annoying to a people than when for example someone is feeling hunger and you keep shouting I’ve grown the economy. You shouldn’t be talking of hunger. You’re full. Ooh no the economy is great. There’s nothing more annoying than that.”

According to him, the NPP came to power promising Ghanaians a whole bag of goodies but has not been able to realise most. He added that Ghanaians will normally be fooled by this kind of trumpeting but not anymore. “Citizens are feeling every bit of the hard conditions in the country. That’s what they’re feeling.”

Coupled with all these, Ghanaians are losing their jobs and the poor road networks are a big problem.  “The level of disrepair on our roads is bad. There are even potholes on the major roads let alone moving off the main roads unto smaller roads.”

He revealed that, the country is in a terrible situation and one does not need to be in opposition to see that.
