The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported six new Mpox cases, bringing the total to 91.
According to health officials, two of the new patients are hospitalized under close supervision.
Contact tracing is underway to identify potential exposures.
Amid growing public concern, the GHS has urged calm, assuring the situation is under control.
Authorities have however advised the public to avoid close contact, frequent handwashing, and proper sanitation to prevent the spread.
They also disclosed that they are conducting surveillance for early detection and community education to protect the population.
