Ghana’s Mpox cases have risen to 119 after the Ghana Health Service confirmed two new cases on June 22, 2025.
However, there haven’t been any reported deaths, and no patients are currently hospitalized due to the disease.
According to their records, 119 cases were confirmed as of June 22, 2025 with zero reported deaths and no patients currently admitted for Mpox treatment.
While the number of cases is increasing, the GHS maintains that there have been no new deaths and no active hospital admissions related to Mpox.
The GHS continues to urge the public to practice good hygiene, including frequent handwashing, and to avoid close contact with individuals exhibiting symptoms.
They are also actively conducting contact tracing to identify and isolate potential cases to prevent further spread.
Mpox primarily spreads through close contact with infected individuals, prompting health authorities to emphasize the importance of adhering to safety guidelines and seeking prompt medical care if symptoms arise.
